2018 Update

Well as the wind howls around us, it’s certainly been a wild start to 2018!
The great event of 2017 was of course the reopening of the Greyhound pub which has been sadly missed by ourselves, guests and locals. Fran and Rich are the new owners and they have done a truly remarkable job of renovating and decorating to turn it into a wonderfully warm and welcoming place to enjoy a drink or meal. Now a free-house, their range of superb beers now includes Larkins, brewed locally in nearby Chiddingstone, and they have already received West Kent CAMRA’s 2017 Autumn Award for the Most Highly Commended Pub. Their excellent menu offers proper ‘pub grub’ and the warm scotch eggs and home made fish pie are both to die for…! And of course, a mere 5 minute amble down the drive means there ¬†are no worries about drinking and driving.
No meals on Sunday evenings and fully closed all day Monday. (But there are other local options just a bit further away for these times!)
